A short while ago I was reminded of one of (if not the) best advice on how to improve in Starcraft II and I want to reflect on why I think this is true and what it helps me with.
Just a small update to celebrate the promotion to Platinum 2. 🥳
Moving up in MMR and the ladder has slowed down. This does not necessarily mean that my progress is stalling. In my view it's more a sign, that I am now reaching a rating where the system can pair me more successfully with people that have a similar success rate with their current skill level. Let's see what I should work on to gain an edge again over these folks.
Let's look back at the previous season and set some directions for the upcoming one.
Traditionally a new years resolution list is nothing more than an extended procrastination list. So here is what I wish for in 2022, but separated into long term, mid term and short term goals to create a more achievable approach.
